I hope summer’s been going fantastic for you and you haven’t melted away. It’s about that time of year again to start thinking about SPAC and our fall plans.
Registration is now open, go to www.spacracing.com and click the REGISTER button. Starting September 1 and running through October 31 will be our on-time registration dates. From November 1 on there will be a late fee added. So please get signed up! By having our on-time registration completed by this date has two benefits to our athletes. The 1st reason is to get people signed up earlier so I can train staff more efficiently, and the 2nd reason is we are going to do a dryland component that will happen the 1st weekend of November before the juniors go to their fall camp. The dryland component will be much like last year’s off snow workouts while we waiting for snow to fly. We’ll get together to do teambuilding and get everybody reacquainted after the summer.
Summer camps wrapped up and went very well, with athletes making strides towards next season, hope to see even more of you at camp next summer!
Our coaching staff has already also started meeting and planning for the snow to fly, we had a great session in July!
The fall party/gear swap is set for Sunday, September 20, 5:00PM to 7:30PM at SkyMania Trampoline Gym. Look for detailed info about the party coming to your email soon.
Junior dryland will also begin around September 19, details to follow.
Juniors: The fall camp is set up for Copper Mountain again this year. If you are planning on going, please let me know to expect you. The dates are November 21 through November 29. If you’re making flight arrangements please try to arrive in Denver on the 21st on or before noon and leave Denver the 29th after 3 PM. Right now flights to Denver are still relatively inexpensive, so have those conversations with your parents now and don’t put it off. I will pick you up and drop you off at the Denver airport for camp and can take your equipment down early in the van with me. It’s estimated the camp cost will be $1850 the same as last year. As always if the camp works out to be less you will be credited back the difference.
